Here we are using a 'list' type of form and praising the beloved. This form is called a BLAZON.
Jessica Patru
The one left behind
Your build,
Evoking strength and glory,
Multiplied by the bronze color of your skin.
Against the vanishing sand dunes
You were formed.
Time passed.
The sun rose and set
Your body floating on the heat waves
Transcending both time and space.
Translucent to the outside world
But opaque to me.
Your eyes a galaxy of stars
Lost in wonder.
Deep within them I find
A new world, a new kind of humanity
One filled with mystery and delight.
A haven for the broken.
I take refuge in them.
Their marvelous white light a firework spectacular
That transfixes me.
Your smile,
A majestic offering
That the heavens proclaim.
Sweet as ancient honey
That forever holds its taste.
Your voice,
The soothing comfort of the ripples of the Nile at night
The palm leaves against the wind
The shifting of sand
The supple sound of ancient harps and flutes.
Your embrace
A shore of unexpected possibilities.
The vigor of a lion
A hurricane in a blue sky
That I didn’t
see coming.
Warm and sensuous,
Sunshine right after rain.
When I am with you
I am dancing on the tallest mountain,
And sinking in your arms
I am lost without you.

The Definition of Perfection
Her form defines beauty.
Skin as pure as a child.
Silky to the touch.
Satin yearns to be the same quality of feel as her.
Her hue cannot be matched,
For any attempt to mimic would degraded the shade’s radiance.
Her hair has the color of honey.
The elegance of Aphrodite
And the grace of a ballet.
It stems forth like a spring of water from her head,
And flows like a stream forthwith
Until it crashes like a waterfall upon her shoulders.
Her form defines elegance.
Her voice makes angels sing in admiration.
Bach, Handel, and Mozart all together
Could not compose a symphony so melodious.
Her very name means Graceful
And her body holds true to that name.
The shine of her eyes is what defines brightness.
Stars dimmer in her eye’s dazzling azure tone.
Each blink recedes quickly
As to reveal her eye’s essence once more.
Her form defines splendor.
Her smile is a glimmer of hope in the darkest tunnel.
It stimulates joy and arouses peace.
She creates life just by laughing.
Flowers stretch towards her
If only to get a grasp of her.
Her walk is a dance of highest art.
Each step taken with poise and refinement.
Purity follows her around like a dove.
Hovering over her to protect her from blemish.
Her love is unconditional.
Her body is timeless.
Her joy is unending.
Her beauty will never decay.
Her form defines perfection

My Inspiration
Her beauty
Stood out like the sun
Was powerful as an ocean’s wave
Painful to watch her leave
Her eyes
Lovely as a summer’s breeze
Cold as a tornado strike
Her skin
Was as tan as the sands of the beach
As warm as my inner thoughts
Unforgettable as my fondest memory
Her smell
Journeys through the air
A flowering blossom
Her laugh
Contagious as a deadly decease
Inspiring to the human ear
Her hair
Elongates in the mists of the wind
It’s free to dance as she parades downtown
Her hands
Elegant to the movement
Graceful to the touch
Her legs
Aspired to coast to coast
Strength of a giraffe
Graceful as a flamingo
Makes the earth tremble at your feet
She is the presence of an ancient goddess
No day passes that she is not beautiful
Thus she is beauty
And beauty is her
Sabrina Berci
Behind your Barriers
Your shoulders,
Deceitful caves of Austria,
Hiding your fragile stalactites
Your back,
A strained slingshot in Israeli history
Pulled to furthest potential
Your eyes,
Unveiled windows of Hearst Castle
Allowing full moon's glow
To reflect upon cracked glass of the castle's
Grandfather clock
Your hands,
Pelicans of Sydney
Exploring
The sands of earth's beaches
Your arms,
Jade waters of Hanauma
Swaying at bay on a
Cunning hammock
Your legs,
Columns of Greek temples
On a mission
To make their name great
In a renown museum
Your mouth
A cool ride on a motorcycle through Spain
With no stoplights or speed limits
Your feet
Squirrels of Lafayette Park
Trying to eat acorns
In peace
Ignorant to eyes that notice,
Their findings of final provisions
In the chill of the winter
Your breath,
The last successful
Brush of rocks,
The final spark of light,
The ultimate fire,
Bringing you
To full view
You're alive.
Dear beloved,
Your head
Need not be
A Roman statue on display
Attempting to portray
Perfection
Your stance
Need not be
A brick wall
Birthed from Hollywood's green screen
Your face need not
Appear a chiseled, immovable boulder
Ready to accompany
Presidents on Mount Rushmore
And your walk
Need not make Italian cars ashamed
And Japanese airplanes threatened
For your heart is already
The Indian Ocean
Whispering back and forth
Dawn to dusk
Your embrace is already
A night in Santorini
Where the sunset
Closes the curtains
On a white city
Your voice is already
Both
The song of the African drum
In a barefoot dance
Capable of rapidity,
And
The calm rustle of the leaves
Of the sleepy willow,
Conductor of forest's music
Bringing climax to decrescendo
You,
Beloved one,
Are already
The perfect blend of
The peaceful streets in foreign lands,
The ruling sequoia in the midnight forest
And
The awaited key to this Pacific chest
You,
Beloved one,
Are already.

Your eyes a blazing fire,
Passion riddled and determined
An unyielding and harsh winter storm
Grave, yet also a soft and comforting quilt
Your lips a shrewd east wind,
Patronizing and sarcastic
A smooth marble top
Choosing when to be generous
Your tongue a sharp serpent,
Weaving through dirt terrain
Cautious and wise
At times a sting and a burn
At times a hug or a kiss
Your voice a thunderstorm,
Loud, booming, and consuming
A triumphant cry
A victorious shout
Your hair a changing mystery
A short and aging memory
A deceitful politician
Your arms an enraged anaconda,
Overpowering and ruthless
Your stomach a wounded soldier,
Scarred, worn, and torn
Your legs a fierce warrior,
Muscular and toned
Ready for battle against any opponent
Your feet strong and sturdy steel,
Hard working travelers
Your scent a temptation,
Captivating and comforting
Tainting rooms with its aroma
Enchanting and enticing nostrils
Your presence a forceful rain,
Sometimes unwanted but entirely necessary

The Forbidden
Brightest star
A candle in the cave
Your smile
Joy lives along your lips
Greeting those you favor
A striking treat
A striking heat
As your smile shines
Not mine to appreciate
Tranquil waters
A still lake
Your eyes
With the sunset
Casting a warm glow off of the dusky surface
A piercing lance
A piercing glance
As they never stray
Not mine to notice
Disobedient silk
A short field of grain
Your hair
Lion’s pelt
Reflects the spirit of the Savannah
A darkening gold
A darkening hold
As you stand still
Not mine to have
Smooth marble
A tan peach
Your frame
Apollo is envious
Of your light
A longing touch
A longing clutch
As your hands cease to roam
Not mine to feel
Not mine
Allie Gurvitz
our smile,
A light in a sea of darkness.
A laugh in a sea of sadness.
A diamond in a bed of thorns
That shines so brightly.
Your skin and lips,
Softer than the skin of a baby,
Glows from miles away with those rosy cheeks.
Your hair,
Flowing down your back like a waterfall.
Browns and blondes mix together
Unlike oil and vinegar.
Follows the layers of an onion down to its core.
Your eyes,
Shining brighter than the brightest star in the sky.
Bluer than the clearest of days.
Twinkle even in the dark
And pierce my eyes with wonder.
Your voice,
The rustle in the trees
Rushing through the wind
Keeping me awake
In a world filled with sleep.
Your love,
Sugar in my morning tea,
The anchor to my balloon.
The wind in my sails,
The lighthouse on the rocky shore
Miles and miles away.
Your shoulder,
A place to shed tears,
The shade of a tree in a forest.
She is my East and my West, my compass.
Strength and dignity are her clothing.
Honesty and compassion are her jewels.

My Everything
My love
Your eyes are bright stars
Shining so bright to guide my way
Leading me through the troubles of life
Your heart a precious jewel
That despite it being worth more than I have to offer
You let me hold on to
Your smile is the strongest of medicines
That can cure any illness
And ease all my pain
My darling
Your voice is a gorgeous melody
That continues to play in my head
Because I love listening to every moment
Your scent the sweetest of perfumes
So addicting and intoxicating
Taking deep breaths as it moves through the air
Your touch is the smoothest of massages
Relaxing and soothing
Calming my strongest nerves
My sweetheart
Your lips are ripe fruits
So full and juicy
So kissable
Your hair is a river
That flows so perfectly
And feels so smooth
Your hands are pieces to a puzzle
That fit perfectly with mine
And should never be separated
My everything
You are my teddy bear to cuddle
My blanket to keep me warm
You are my pillow to sleep on
You are my everything
My love
My darling
My sweetheart
You are my penguin
Juby Geli
A hand
The grip of an iron fist when first met
Powerful and confident to every greeter
A strength only characterized by a hero
But gentle enough to caress a face
A forehead
As wide as the ocean
For instilling wisdom and memories
With a flat finish
The perfect rest for my own
A head of hair
The softest locks of the finest silk
Not too short, not too long
Trimmed and swept to the side
The frame of the most exquisite face
A smile
The desert sun of warmth and brightness
A vision of beauty to behold
Never lost or withdrawn
And so incredibly true
A pair of eyes
Though clouded with light brown shards
And which can melt the coldest ice
Are the most beautiful emeralds
Treasures yet to be unearthed
A voice
The song of the sea
A drum of every heart beat
In tune with my favorite song
Playing like a harmony of an angel
Elizabeth Harrison
My Everything
Body built for the heavens
Coco brown
Sculpted from the very essence of the earth
Perfect in it's imperfection
Powerful beyond belief
Arms of steel and silk
Strong enough to hold up the world
Gentile, soft, and comforting
Everything
Hands like a gypsy
Ever roaming
Attention grabbing
Dazzling and incomprehensible
Jaw so strong and proud
Arrogant and stubborn
Rugged and handsome
Chiseled from the strongest marble
Laughter the singing of ancient myths and legends
The gargling of streams and the rumble of waterfalls
Infectious and disastrous
Walking the edge of oblivion
Pure, sensual, elemental
Lips soft and warm
Welcoming even when the world weighs on their corners
And a smile that could melt glaciers
Soft petals filled with liquid lightning
Eyes molten dark chocolate
Not quite sweet but mouthwatering all the same
Heart warming and enticing
Inviting and clever
All knowing and innocent

Cause and Effect
Who could live without your grin?
Sharp enough to cut through thick, dark moods
Bright enough to banish their shadows
Lopsided enough to demand attention
always
Those fluid eyes
jade in love, precious
olive for anger, shouting
bitter and unfathomable
flecks of hazel during times of awe and humor
A shade of pine for everything in between.
Fine hair bursting from your scalp like feline ears
Bristling when alert, drooping when tired,
spiking everywhere during that grin.
Fingertips of pale bamboo
Dragging across cloudy skies or skin
adorned with thick silver rings like trophies
Strong and beautiful
Wrists of startling delicacy
Twisting and posing with the wind,
gesturing with educated feeling
A poet or a King
Steady palms and arms
Encompassing, pure extensions of the rest
The Atlas to my world
Line of shoulders
Flexing around music, bouncing to the rhythm
Stiff and firm when standing your ground
Lax in times of peace
Length of spine reaching to the heavens
A focal point, a fault line between creation
Life and sustenance cascading out from either side
Quicksilver legs
Skipping across the ground
Fast enough hover and take flight
Your manifest sound
Clanging brightly when you enter a room
As loud as a tumble of pots and pans
Always as energetic as your whole being, helplessly
Following that example, loyally
following after you
there’s no place else
It could ever want to be.
Your imprint
Lingering long after the fact
Echoes and ghosts and angels
Barbara Bonaparte
Your lips are the anchor to my heart,
Feeding me love and wisdom.
Your heart is the motor to my being,
Giving me reason to wake up every morning.
Your being; my religion
Keeping me thirsty and vulnerable
Your religion; my love
Wanting to fulfill you spiritually, mentally and physically.
Your love is the apple to my eye
Seeing is believing, so it must have been at first sight.
Your eyes are the threshold to my soul
Holding the key to my happiness
Your soul is a garden
so beautiful and delicate.
Your touch is electric
Leaves me weak in the knees
Your statuesque frame is hypnotizing
Crafted perfectly to a T.
Your smile is luminous
It’s all I need in this cold dark world
Your presence is addictive
Without my daily dosage
It’d be cliché to call me lovesick
Eclectic to my eyes
You’re a work of art
You’re my backbone
You keep me standing strong
You’re my life support
You keep me living long
You’re my good day
When everything goes bad
You’re my happiness
When everything seems sad
The body of a Greek God
With the face a king
If I didn’t know any better
I’d place a crown on my head and label myself queen.
Giselle Rodriguez
Him
With Stars for eyes
Shining brightly up above me
Windows to a distant planet
A Hypnotizing serpent
So convincing and seducing
Accomplices of his smile,
A peaceful scene
The ocean at its calmest
So comforting and trustworthy
Yet so mysterious and deceiving
Lips like no other
A wonderful get away
A delicious poison
An innocent addiction
His shoulders,
The masculinity of a lion
His Chest,
An entrancing pillow
A comfortable bed
With heart beats as music
His Heart,
A musician of love songs
Pure and Honest
His arms,
A warm blanket
The feeling of peace
The hope of a tomorrow
The safest hide out

A Fairytale
Your bright pink nails shine in the sun,
reminding me of a gleaming gold crown.
Waiting to be worn,
but only by the fairest princess of them all.
Thick brown hair spills down your back,
just like that of Rapunzel’s,
but with streaks of purple and blue
that tell a story all on their own.
Arms that are equal in strength to that of Hercules
stretch towards me,
always there,
open
open to hold me up and comfort me,
as they have many times before.
Deep brown eyes stare into mine,
holding wisdom beyond their years.
Providing great knowledge as concrete and accurately as an old willow tree.
But, with an added sense of understanding,
compassion.
Your heart beats strong,
like that of a father lion’s
who would do anything for his son,
even give his own life.
Unlike many, you have a small agile nose.
One that will never grow like that of Pinocchio,
because after everything we have been through
you would never betray me
by lying, or deceiving.
Whenever I need a laugh I run to you,
knowing your mind soars.
Soars as high as a young boy who never wants to grow up.
Creating stories and jokes I never could of thought of.
Bringing a smile to my face and yours.
While your voice is not quite as harmonious as that of a young mermaid,
I know that it can lead me out of Wonderland,
and I recognize that it already has,
more than once before.
A friendship as rare as a glass slipper.
We’re two peas in a pod.
My other half,
my sister soulmate,
my Ali

~~~~~~
Trinitite
Isolde,
Turn upon yourself in fury
Give yourself to the heaves and throws
And the light will pierce your soul.
With arrogance and pride
We laid our own graves
Your presence demands
My sins repentance.
I have done the unforgivable
And created the end of humankind
A thousand kingdoms fallen
Could not bring me back to you-
For a moment I was on the sun
The eeriness and beauty shivers
Crawling, creeping silently
Down my spine.
We will burn every memory until
The suits and dresses return to ash
Earth melts and cracks;
Even the ground becomes glass.
Endlessly, she said:
Let your miseries smile upon me
I would bake on the surface of the sun
Before I surrender my humanity.
Our fate is to be forgotten
We are all bastards now.
